About the Foundation for the Future

Founded in 1992, the Foundation for the Future has funded vital academic programs that have steadily improved student performance. Today M-A is among the top-ranked high schools in the country and the future is bright.

The generous support of our donors advances our Foundation's goal of providing a better educational experience for every M-A student by funding smaller class sizes, an expanded course offering, and professional development for our teachers.

How to Play & Win

Pre-Game

A Laptop Computer To place a bid, you must first register for your free ReadySetAuction (RSA) bidding account.

Simply browse the online catalog, find an item that you would like to bid on and click the "Click here to bid" button. You will be directed to the Login page.

If you already have a RSA account, simply fill in your User Name and Password and click the Login button.

If you do not yet have a RSA account, follow these simple steps to register:

Fill in the Registration information on the right half of the page. Be sure to remember the user name you choose. Click the Register button.
RSA will send you an email containing your temporary password.
Copy the password to your desktop/clipboard.
Click the link in the email from RSA and confirm your user name and password (paste the password into the password field).
Click the Confirm Registration button.
Choose your own personal password. This is the password you will use from this point forward whenever you log into RSA. The temporary password you received earlier will no longer work.
Click the Change Password button.

Game Plan

Browse the catalog to decide which items you would like to bid on. Click the "View Auction Catalog" button to the left of the home page. Or, click the "Catalog" tab near the top of the page. Click on a category to view items of a specific category. To view all items, click the "View All Items" link at the top of the category list. Click on an item’s name or picture to learn more. If the item is open for bidding, you will be able to place a bid from this page.

Bidding

Bidding on RSA is easy too. If you would like to bid on an item, enter your bid in the "Place Your Max Bid" box and click the "Submit Bid" button. Your bid must be at least equal to the amount listed in the message “Next bid must be at least...” to be considered a valid bid. Your bid amount should be the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item. RSA will place incremental bids on your behalf, up to your maximum bid amount, as necessary to maintain the leading bid and win the item. RSA will notify you via email if you have been outbid.

If you decide to increase your maximum bid, you may do so if the item is still open for bidding. Simply enter your new maximum bid just as you did when you placed your initial bid on the item.

Win It Now

Some items may offer a "Win It Now" option. If you are the first bidder to pay the Win It Now price, you will win the item and will be obligated to purchase it at the Win It Now price.

Sign Up Party

Some parties and events are set up for sign-ups on a per person basis. If the party sounds like fun, just sign yourself up at the per person price and you get to join in the fun. If you and a friend want to go together, then you need to buy two spots. These items tend to fill up quickly so bid right away.

Victory!

When you win an item you will receive an email message with instructions for payment. Please be sure your name, address, and email are accurate on your receipt. Once the Foundation has received your payment (PayPal or check), one of our happy volunteers will contact you regarding delivery of your item.
